Lucie Bellerive
Artist Bio
Lucie is a self-taught artist and she found her inspiration as a young child by the expressions of creativity by her mother and grandmother, in the forms of wood carving, painting, cross-stitching, sewing, pottery, and quilting.
Lucie works with acrylic and coloured pencil mostly. She also designs cross-stitch patterns using photographs. Publications include the covers of “City Crow” Magazine (Oct 2004 issue) and “The Tranquil Planet” (Oct / Nov 2004 issue). She has illustrated over 20 children’s books, including the “Essentially Science and Technology” series, “Po & Me” and “Nami & the Dragons”. Her work has been exhibited and donated to various exhibits, establishments and galleries, locally and internationally.
Lucie is available for commissions, book illustrations, magazine publications, collaborative ventures, articles, and lessons in needlework design, etc.
